Change by Design uses questions as a powerful medium for talking about change. These questions challenge us to think about how we can enact shared leadership in our groups teams organisations and companies.

This is a great tool for keeping fairness alive in the way we participate and include others in any process of change. It recognises that change happens best when those who are affected are given the opportunity to let their leadership qualities shine. It also recognises that leadership does not come automatically with a particular position but rather that leadership is a shared responsibility and can be brought to the change process by anyone at any time.

How to Use

Select a card at random. What would your change process be like if this aspect were stronger? How could this be achieved?

Invite each person to select a card they most want to talk about.

Select 10 cards that apply to the situation or proposed change. Which card would have the most immediate impact? What can you do to implement this? Arrange the cards in a sequence for action

Which card might help your team bring more fun to the change process?
